Taking Parish Council Newsletters To The Next Level



Over the years, we have had the pleasure of working with Clayton-le-Woods Parish Council to initially rebrand their newsletter to ensure this was engaging and appealing to residents and have since designed, printed all of their newsletters and deliver these twice a year to the 8,000 homes in their Parish.

A Design That Embodies Clayton-le-Woods


The newsletters are built on usually either 8 or 12 pages that are always jam packed with lots of local community news and information as well as introductions to new councillors, updates on the community infrastructure levy and much more.


With a newsletters that includes so much content, we need to ensure that with each edition that’s created, all the text is very easy on the eye and broken up with plenty of great images and icons.


Through working closely with the Parish Council, we always put together an initial proof based on their content list and ideas. This is then reviewed by the councillors and their feedback is then acted on. We then produce a number of versions until the final look is achieved and later approved.


As with all of our graphic design work, we don’t stop working until our clients are 100% with their proof/s.


 

Printing That’s Sustainable & Pixel Perfect


Following the final proof being approved, the next step is to get this on the presses. Through using sustainable ink from, believe it or not, biodegradable vegetable oils such as soya, sunseed or rapeseed oil these are created and always look fantastic with the colours really popping!


Once this comes off the presses, this is then split up into bundles to make things much easier for our trusted delivery team.


 

Getting The Newsletters Out


The delivery to the 8,000 properties in the Parish is divided up into different sections and are always started and completed within the agreed timescales. The delivery of the newsletters to all of the homes and businesses takes just over a week.
