Friends of...Food! - Pork & Apple Burgers

300g pork sausage meat, 4 burger buns, 4 tsp onion marmalade/chutney, 2 apples (cored and thinly sliced), 2 handfuls rocket/lettuce, 2 tsp mayonnaise, a little English mustard (optional), potato wedges to serve (optional)
1. Divide the sausage meat into four portions and shape into burgers. Fry in a non-stick pan for 10-12 minutes, turning a couple of times, until cooked all the way through and golden on both sides.
2. If you prefer your burger buns toasted, heat grill to high, slice the buns in half and toast.
3. Spread the bottom halves of the buns with the marmalade/chutney, then add the burgers, apple slices, rocket/lettuce, mayonnaise and mustard (if you’re using this).
4. Add the bun lids and serve alongside your potato wedges.
