We're sure you've seen the cranes, diggers, workers and much more on the plot of land next to the WarHorse when you’ve been passing, but have you seen the banner which includes all the contact details you need to apply for job vacancies at this brand new restaurant? Buckshaw KFC is certainly starting to take shape, and we're so excited for this new business to arrive in our village in early 2019. We recently caught up with Ian Hodgkinson, the Area Coach/Manager for KFC Buckshaw. One of Ian's many roles will be supporting the management and the team opening the new restaurant. Ian told us, "At t
he moment the development is going well and we will start the interview process for team members in the New Year. We're very excited for people in and around Buckshaw Village to join our team and will have a number of full and part time positions available across multiple stations including cashiers, packers, production and cooks. If you'd like to be part of our new, exciting and vibrant team, please email your CV to: email@example.com It's all very exciting for us here at KFC and things are moving very quickly. We’ll continue to keep residents up to speed with the development and exact openi
ng dates through the Friends of Buckshaw Village community magazine and their social media accounts." Lynsey, Operations Director for KFC Franchisee's added, "I'd just like to emphasise Ian's point on how excited we are to be a part of your village. There have been a couple of delays, as is usual with any building work and we are of course at the mercy of the elements over winter, so it's harder than ever to pin a date on when we will be opening. I would hope to be open by mid-March, but the nearer we get the more specific we will be. Once our shopfitters are on site, we will be 7 weeks from opening. The store itself will be a similar format and set-up to the store in Chorley and will include a drive-thru and car parking for those wanting to
eat in. We're really looking forward to working in such a diverse village as Buckshaw, and being able to integrate ourselves with the local community". We’ll be meeting up with Lynsey and Ian in the New Year, and may even have a chance to visit the site before it officially opens to bring you some 'sneak peek’ images, so watch this space!
