This Agreement is hereby entered into between you, your employees and agents (collectively “Customer”/"Client") and applies to the purchase of all products & services we at Green Man Marketing provide to you, the Client.

Advertising bookings are governed by our separate Advertising Terms and Conditions, which can be viewed by clicking here or under the heading ‘Friends Of Advertising Terms & Conditions’ at the bottom of this page.
1. Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions apply to all Clients of Green Man Marketing. By accepting a quotation, proposal, or using our services, the Client is deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full. Acceptance does not require ticking a box on our website.
2. Charges and Payment
2.1. All charges for products and services are set out in the project quotation sent via email (usually through QuickBooks) and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Green Man Marketing reserves the right to revise or decline quotations after expiry.
2.2. Payment may be made by cash, cheque, direct debit, or bank transfer. Cheques should be made payable to Green Man Marketing and sent to: Suite, Unity Place Community Centre, Buckshaw Village, Chorley, Lancashire, PR7 7HZ. Bank details are provided on invoices.
2.3. Each project includes specific payment terms outlined in the quotation. Failure to pay within the agreed terms may result in suspension of services and recovery of outstanding debt, including legal costs.
3. Reviews and Feedback
3.1. Clients may review project files during the design proofing phase.
3.2. Once the Client signs off on the design, the project is deemed complete. Any additional work beyond the original quotation will incur extra charges.
4. Deadlines and Content
4.1. Green Man Marketing will aim to meet agreed deadlines unless a delay is requested by the Client or notified in advance by Green Man Marketing.
4.2. Clients must appoint a single point of contact to provide content and approvals.
4.3. All required content should be submitted via email, WeTransfer, Google Drive, or another agreed method. Content must be supplied in the agreed formats: text in Word or clearly formatted email, images as JPEG, PNG, PDF, or similar. Multimedia or graphics should be supplied separately.
5. Failure to Provide Content
5.1. Delays caused by late or incorrect content may result in surcharges of up to 25% of the total project cost.
5.2. If required content is not provided within one week of project commencement, Green Man Marketing reserves the right to suspend or close the project. Any outstanding balance will become immediately payable in full.
6. Additional Expenditure
The Client agrees to pay for any additional expenses necessary for project completion, including but not limited to: special fonts, stock photography, videos, social media ad spend, or other third-party costs.
7. Project Cancellation and Refunds
7.1. Refunds are only available if no work has commenced. Once work has started, including research, planning, or design, no refunds will be issued.
7.2. Projects cancelled by the Client must be submitted in writing (email or letter). Telephone requests are not valid unless confirmed in writing.
7.3. If a project is abandoned due to lack of communication for 30 days, it will be considered cancelled. All fees remain payable.
8. Indemnity and Copyright
8.1. All services must be used for lawful purposes only. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Green Man Marketing harmless from any claims arising from misuse of services or content.
8.2. Clients retain copyright to content they supply and grant Green Man Marketing a licence to use it for project purposes. Clients must ensure third-party material is licensed for use and indemnify Green Man Marketing against any copyright claims.

9. Company Credit
Green Man Marketing may include a credit on completed projects (logo, link, contact details). Removal of credit is available for an additional 10% of the total job cost. Projects may also be included in Green Man Marketing’s portfolio for digital or print purposes.

10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.

11. Liability

Green Man Marketing excludes liability for loss, damage, delay, or errors, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. The total liability of Green Man Marketing to the Client in respect of any claim is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Any invalid provision will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.

These Terms and Conditions are effective from 14th November 2025.
