Papa Luigi's Restaurants, with locations in Euxton and Wigan, are popular destinations for Italian cuisine across the North West. Having worked with the client on previous campaigns, they approached Green Man Marketing to create a scalable version of their logo and, later, a fun kids’ activity worksheet to enhance the dining experience.

The Challenge

The client needed a high-resolution, scalable version of their logo to use for large-format signage, digital platforms, and social media. Without this, any enlargement of their existing logo risked becoming blurred or pixelated, limiting marketing opportunities and branding consistency.

Additionally, they wanted to create an engaging experience for young diners. The aim was to provide a branded activity worksheet featuring colouring exercises, word searches, and fun illustrations that could be completed while waiting for meals and taken home as a souvenir.

Our Approach

Green Man Marketing provided tailored graphic design and printing services to meet these requirements.

For the logo redesign, we redrew the Papa Luigi's logo exactly as it was, maintaining the original colours, proportions, and design details, creating a versatile, scalable version suitable for all uses. The client received a complete set of file formats, including vector and high-resolution images, to ensure consistent quality across all future applications.

For the kids’ activity worksheet, we used the updated branding to create a playful, interactive design. Children could colour in the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Italian flag, and complete themed word searches. The worksheet was designed on crayon-friendly paper stock and produced using Adobe InDesign, providing a high-quality, durable product that enhances the customer experience.

Results

The project delivered immediate and ongoing benefits:

  • The logo can now be used at any size for signage, banners, printed materials, and digital platforms without loss of quality.

  • The kids’ worksheets have been extremely popular, leading to multiple reorders as families enjoy them with each visit.

  • The refreshed branding ensures all printed and digital materials are consistent, professional, and engaging.

  • By providing ready-to-use design files, the client saved time and money when producing materials for both locations.

  • Overall, the updates have strengthened brand recognition and enhanced the experience for both staff and customers.
